At time of inspection, there was no hand drying provision available at the handwashing sink (observed an empty paper towel dispenser). COS: PIC refilled the paper towel dispenser.
18 - insects, rodents, and animals not present
Regulation: 511-6-1.07(2)(m) - outer openings protected (c)
At time of inspection, the back door in the kitchen was observed propped open. COS: PIC closed the door. Keep door closed to prevent pest entry. At time of inspection, observed daylight visible underneath the back door. Replace weatherstripping to prevent pest entry. Correct By: 6-4-2026.
14C - single-use/single-service articles: properly stored, used
Regulation: 511-6-1.05(10)(e)1&3 - single-service/single-use items stored 6" off floor in clean, dry location (c)
At time of inspection, observed boxes of plastic cutlery open/unsealed in the dry storage area. Single-use/service items must either be closed in original packaging OR stored in another container/way that prevents potential contamination. Correct By: 5/6/2026.
15B - warewashing facilities: installed, maintained, used; test strips
Regulation: 511-6-1.05(3)(h),(i),(j) - temperature measuring device, manual warewashing; sanitizing solutions, testing device (pf)
At time of inspection, the sanitizer test strips available appeared to have gotten wet (they appeared blue in color, and tattered). PIC states new test strips for the sanitizer will be ordered. Correct By: 5-15-2026.
