Regulation: 511-6-2-.13(1) - insect and rodent control
Observed bugs in rooms 127 and 130. Advised PIC that effective and appropriate measures shall be taken to eliminate insects on the premises
8 - annual gas fired equipment inspection on file; gas units equipped with automatic safety and/or 100% cut-off pilot
Regulation: 511-6-2-.15(5) - heating and fire safety-inspection
PIC could not provide an updated copy of gas fire inspection form. PIC provided an older inspection form from November 2024. Advised PIC form shall be available upon request at the time of inspection
27 - all furniture, waste receptacles, draperies, carpets; clean, and in good repair, considered the property of and furnished by the tourist accommodation
Regulation: 511-6-2-.14(5) - condition of furnishings
Observed rust on microwaves and fridges in rooms 126, 130, 125, and 127. Advised PIC that all furniture must be maintained in good repair
28 - beds, mattresses, mattress pads, springs, frames, pillows, and bed coverings clean; vermin free and in good condition; bed linen properly supplied, changed and laundered
Regulation: 511-6-2-.14(6) - bed, bedding, and linens
Observed stains on mattress, mattress pads, and linens in rooms: 126, 129, 130, 125, 127. Advised PIC that mattress, mattress pads, and linens shall be free of vermin and clean
34 - grounds, walkways, porches and hallways maintained; drives provide unobstructed width and proper spacing; graded to drain; trailer spaces marked clearly, areas clean and maintained in good repair
Regulation: 511-6-2-.18(3) - areas in good repair/appropriate storage
Observed walkways and side of building in need of repair. Advised PIC that all walkways, porches and hallways shall be maintained in good repair
16 - toilet/lavatory/bathing facility fixtures and rooms clean and maintained; properly lighted, clearly marked, proper signage, and all in good repair
Regulation: 511-6-2-.08(4) - toilet facilities-cleaning and maintenance
Observed stains and debris on shower head. Also observed holes behind toilet in room 130. Also room 125 had a cracked bathroom door. Advised PIC that toilet and fixtures must be smooth and nonabsorbent and shall be kept clean
