The emergency phone does call 911. However, the operator does not have an exact address associated with the pool; he is able to tell me my location based on GIS. Therefore, the pool will be allowed to open, but an address must be associated with the pool phone prior to the routine inspection. The pool phone is on the exterior of the enclosure not making it readily available to all bathers in the event of an emergency. This must be corrected prior to permitting in 2027. CA: An operable, hard-wired, conventional telephone line or continuous powered source, weatherproof emergency phone shall be permanently installed in a conspicuous location within the pool enclosure and must be readily available to bathers at all times. The emergency phone shall be capable of connecting to 911 and electronically transferring an automatic number identification and automatic locator identification of the pool emergency phone to the public safety answering point, if available. A 911 sign or the names and phone numbers of the nearest available police, fire, ambulance service or rescue unit shall be posted nearby.

The turnover is not adequate for the pool type and size. The equipment for a swimming pool shall be of adequate size to turn over the entire pool water capacity. The turnover rate for pools constructed after the adoption of this chapter shall not exceed the sum of one and one-half times the average water depth in feet; where the number of hours is equal to the number feet calculated, or exceed once every six hours whichever is less. Unless the rate is otherwise specified in subsection (b) below. This system shall be designed to give the proper turnover rate based on the manufacturer's recommended maximum pressure flow of the filter in dirty media condition of the filter, immediately prior to cleaning the filter. Must be corrected prior to routine inspection.

The float line was not in place. CA: A rope and float line shall be provided within one foot of and on the shallow side of the break in grade between the shallow and deep portions of the swimming pool, with its position marked with visible floats at intervals of seven feet or less. A weir is not present in each skimmer. Replace weirs. Each skimmer shall have a weir that adjusts automatically to variations in water level over a minimum range of four inches.

The words "No Diving" does not meet the minimum height requirements for the depth markers and there is no universal symbol for No Diving at the depth markers at shallow portion of pool. The words "No Diving" and the universal international symbol for “NO DIVING” shall be permanently visible at the edge of the deck for water five feet in depth or less, placed only on the deck beside the depth markers, and shall conform to that outlined for depth markers. Correct prior to permitting 2028.

There is no sign indicating the hours of operation. The peak occupancy is. A sign shall be posted stating the hours of operation in clear view near the entrance and shall state the theoretical peak occupancy

Observed that the facility is hand feeding chlorine tablets by placing them in the skimmer. CA: Facility shall have an automatic disinfectant equipment that is able to meet the demands of the facility.

Observed there are no available records onsite to verify twice daily chemical testing is performed. CA: The trained operator or responsible person shall collect water samples from the water in the pool for

Observed that there is no available information to verify a daily safety check is being performed. CA: A safety self-inspection shall be conducted daily by the trained operator or responsible person and documented on a log sheet.

Observed that the skimmer equalize lines were not protected by the float valve assembly and did not have check valves. CA: Skimmer lines shall be properly protected.

Observed that one of the pressure gauges was not functioning. CA: A pressure or vacuum gauge or other means of indicating system condition shall be provided in the circulation system in an easily readable location.

Observed that lounge chairs were within 4 feet of the pools edge. CA: The deck, including coping, shall have a minimum four feet width of continuous, unobstructed walking area maintained at all times unless otherwise allowed in the chapter.

Observed that the life guard signage is incorrect/incorrect height. CA: Where no lifeguard is on duty, a sign or signs shall be placed in clear view at or near the entrance to the pool and shall state in clearly legible letters at least four inches high “WARNING - NO LIFE GUARD ON DUTY and RISK OF DROWNING - SUPERVISE CHILDREN CLOSELY”.

Observed that the peak occupancy sign did not have the number on it and hours were not posted. CA: Pool hours shall be posted and peak theoretical occupancy shall be posted.

Observed that the inspection report was not posted. CA: The most recent inspection report shall be posted in public view.

Provide records of daily water testing.
