The pool furniture is too close to the pool edge. Remove furniture that is within 4 ft of the wading pool. The deck, including coping, shall have a minimum four feet width of continuous, unobstructed walking area maintained at all times unless otherwise allowed in the chapter.

The words "No Diving" does not meet the minimum height requirements for the depth markers. There is no universal symbol for No Diving present at each depth marker. The words "No Diving" and the universal international symbol for “NO DIVING” shall be permanently visible at the edge of the deck for water five feet in depth or less, placed only on the deck beside the depth markers, and shall conform to that outlined for depth markers. Correct prior to permitting 2028.

.04(9)(d) The deck at the coping is broken and in disrepair. All surfaces that come in contact with the user shall be finished so that they do not constitute a cutting, pinching, puncturing or abrasion hazard under casual contact and intended use. All materials shall be maintained in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.

The plaster in the wading pool is cracking and in disrepair. Repair cracks and ensure the pool surface is in good repair.

.17(2) The alkalinity does not meet minimum requirements. Alkalinity is required to be at 60ppm minimum and 180 ppm maximum. Speak with CPO about adjusting the alkalinity in the pool, then verify the pH is within proper range.

There are large gaps under portions of the fencing. All outdoor swimming pools and spas shall be enclosed by a barrier to prevent entry to the pool area when the pool is closed. (a) The top of the barrier shall be at least forty eight inches above grade measured on the side of the barrier which faces away from the swimming pool. 1. The maximum vertical clearance between a solid surface and the bottom of the barrier shall be four inches measured on the side of the barrier which faces away from the swimming pool. 2. For non-solid surfaces, the vertical clearance between the bottom of the barrier and the grade shall not exceed two inches for a barrier constructed after adoption of the chapter. 3. Where the top of the pool structure is above grade, the barrier may be at ground level, such as the pool structure. 4. Where the barrier is mounted on top of the pool structure, the maximum vertical clearance between the top of the pool structure and the bottom of the barrier shall be four inches.

The chlorine exceeds the maximum allowance of 10ppm. Reduce chlorine. Must be corrected prior to permitting. Chlorine in stabilized pools must be between 2pp-10ppm.

The entry and exit gate can not remain open. All gates must be in good repair and properly self close and self latch. The latching devices must meet the requirements of the code to prevent unauthorized access to pool. Access gates shall also comply with the requirements of this Rule and shall be equipped to accommodate a locking device. Barrier gates shall open away from the pool in facilities constructed after adoption of this chapter. Pedestrian access gates shall be self-closing and have a self-latching device. Gates other than pedestrian access gates shall have a self-latching device. Where the release mechanism of the self latching device is located less than fifty-four inches from the bottom of the gate, 1. The release mechanism shall be located on the pool side of the gate at least three inches below the top of the gate and 2. Any openings in the gate or barrier located within eighteen inches of the release mechanism shall be less than one-half inch. 3. Mechanisms controlled by an access card reader, key entry device or keypad shall be located on the outside of the access gate.

The complete list of require pool risks is not posted. Ensure rules are a minimum of at least 1 inch and include all required pool risks.

A sign stating the hours of operation and bather load is not posted. A sign shall be posted stating the hours of operation in clear view near the entrance and shall state the theoretical peak occupancy.

The water fountain does not properly function. Ensure the water fountain is available for this facility.

.17(2): The calcium hardness level does not meet minimum requirement of at least 150 ppm.
