4-2B - food-contact surfaces: cleaned & sanitized
Regulation: 511-6-1.05(7)(b) - food contact surfaces and utensils - cleaning frequency (p, c)
Observed mold/debris build up in the soda nozzles in self service soda machine. Person in Charge (PIC) stated dining tables are cleaned with single sanitizer bucket, improper methods. Corrective Action (CA): PIC instructed to make sure soda nozzles are cleaned regularly to prevent mold/debris build up. PIC instructed to use 2 buckets with cloths or sanitizer spray bottle with paper towel methods to clean dining tables. PIC removed soda nozzles for cleaning. PIC cleaned tables with sanitizer spray bottle and paper towels. COS.
17D - adequate ventilation and lighting; designated areas used
Regulation: 511-6-1.07(5)(j) - using dressing rooms & lockers, used for changing clothes and storing employee belongings (c)
Observed employee jacket stored on shelf in kitchen used to hold food items, employee areas not used. Jacket moved to employee storage area. COS.
