Observed multiple food items in walk in cooler above 41 ~ Marinated Chicken Breast 47, Eggs 46, Lasagna 50 and Broccoli Chicken Casserole 48. All food items were prepped between 4/2 and 4/3. EHS noted that WIC was above 41 as well with an ambient temperature ranging between 42-44. EHS instructed PIC to contact maintenance to have the unit serviced. PIC was able to reach maintenance - ice has accumulated on the coil of the unit causing it to freeze. Maintenance was able to thaw the unit so that it can work properly. PIC also discarded all foods that were above temperature and prepped prior to today (04/04/2025). PIC informed that TCS food items shall be stored at 41 or below.
