Observed the following temperatures exceeding 120F: Room 205: 130F sink, 129F bathtub Room 210: 134F sink, 130F bathtub Room 219: 133F sink, 132F bathtub Room 301: 129F sink, 127F bathtub Room 318: 134F sink, 130F bathtub Room 322: 134F sink, 133F bathtub

Hot water in all guest rooms shall not exceed 120F. PIC needs to turn down hot water heater

Observed exit door at the end of the hallway on the first floor not tight fitting with gaps present at the bottom. Openings to the outside shall be effectively protected against the entrance of rodents and insects by tight-fitting doors, closed windows, screening, controlled air currents or other means. PIC needs to install weather stripping

Observed holes in the wall and busted up sections of tile flooring in the laundry room. Floors, walls, ceilings. windows, doors and all other appurtenances shall be of sound construction, properly maintained in good repair and shall be kept clean. PIC needs to have holes in floor and wall repaired

Observed an unlabeled water bottle containing cleaning chemicals on a housekeeping cart on the first floor. Spray bottles and working containers of chemicals stored on the housekeeping cart shall be labeled with their contents

Observed multiple small gray spiders on the bed in room 319. Observed pink and brown stains on the pillow in room 117

Observed mechanical room door and first floor exits were not tight fitting. The mechanical room had a large opening at the bottom of the door. The door that leads from the mechanical room to the laundry room was also not tight fitting

Observed multiple missing and damaged ceiling tiles on the first floor. Observed ceiling tiles above the vending and ice machine on the first floor were missing. Observed large hole in wall located in the first floor laundry room. Observed missing tile over the sauna room door in the fitness room. (3rd consecutive violation)

Observed multiple spray bottles on the house keeping carts (2nd floor and house keeping closets) with greenish and yellow liquid in them with no label. Observed multiple damp clothes next to clean rags and towels on the house keeping carts on second floor

Observed multiple missing and damaged ceiling tiles on the first and second floor. Missing and damaged tiles should be replaced. Observed large holes in dry wall where a few tiles were missing. CA: Floor, walls, and ceilings shall be of sound construction and properly maintained in group repair.

In all new constructed and extensively remodeled residential kitchens used in bed and breakfast inns, coved base molding may be required. Walls and ceilings in residential kitchens shall be easily cleanable and light colored

Observed ice bin in guest room without a plastic bag. CA: Each ice bin used in guest room must have a plastic bag used for single service.

511-6-2-.07(8) - Ice Supply If self-service ice is provided, then it shall be from an approved water supply. In all new tourist accommodations, and in existing tourist accommodations when machines are replaced, only automatic dispensing ice machines will be allowed. In existing tourist accommodations permitted prior to the adoption of this rule, the use of existing self-service ice-storage bins may be continued, provided that the machines are maintained in good repair and capable of being properly cleaned and sanitized according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. Further, a copy of the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions shall be maintained onsite for review at the request of the Health Authority. Scoops, ice buckets, and other ice handling equipment, shall be of easily cleanable material and construction. They shall be stored in a clean place and shall be kept clean.
