Observed last gas fired equipment inspection dated December 2024. Rule: All gas-fired equipment shall be inspected at least annually by a qualified licensed contractor or local fire authority, if available. Points to be inspected are proper construction and installation, malfunctions and adjustments of controls and burners, faulty heat exchangers and vent obstructions. Any defects found on inspection must be corrected by a qualified heating contractor prior to use of the equipment. Upon request, the operator shall provide evidence of inspection and/or correction of any deficiency

Observed brownish-red stains on curtains in rooms 220 and 326. All furniture, draperies, appliances, carpets, and other accessories, in the tourist accommodation, whether the property of the tourist accommodation owner or not, shall be considered the property of and furnished by the tourist accommodation for purposes of enforcement of this Chapter, and must be maintained in good repair, clean, and free of vermin. COS: PIC had housekeeper replace stained curtains with clean curtains

The most recent tourist accommodation inspection report form shall be prominently displayed in public view at all times, between five feet and seven feet from the floor and in a public area such as the registration desk, where it can be read at a distance of one foot away. COS: PIC posted current inspection report at registration desk area

Observed red stain and tan stain on mattress pad in room 126. Observed tan stains on both mattress pads in room 310. Rule: Washable mattress pads or covers shall be used on all mattresses. Beds, mattresses, springs, slats, mattress pads, mattress and bed coverings, pillow and pillow covers shall be clean and free from vermin. Corrective Action: PIC will have clean mattress pads placed on mattresses
